Professional Development

I am currently a Postdoctoral Psychology Intern at Mindful Neuron Psychological Center, completing my licensure hours under the supervision of Dr. Heather Alvarado. My work focuses on clinical neuropsychology, educational psychology, and psychological assessment. I have extensive training in psycho-educational and neuropsychological testing and provide care to clients across the lifespan, from school-aged children to older adults. My clinical experience includes individual therapy, family therapy, social skills groups, and comprehensive evaluations. I am committed to working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, utilizing a collaborative, strengths-based approach to support growth and resilience.

I continue to refine my therapeutic skills in evidence-based modalities, with a focus on trauma-informed care. My clinical practice emphasizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic therapy to facilitate healing and recovery. I also value interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care that integrates psychological and physical well-being.

Background & Training

I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University, my B.A. in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University, and my M.S. in Health Care Administration from Grand Canyon University. My training includes diverse clinical settings where I developed specialized expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and psycho-educational testing. My dissertation, Predictors of Older Adults’ Confidence in Avoiding Drug Interactions, highlights my research interests in health psychology, aging populations, and polypharmacy.

Personal Interests

Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy spending time at the beach with family and friends, traveling, and exploring diverse cuisines.
